The RRQ Team Announces Street Fighter 6 Division
Games | 14 May
The RRQ Team's preparations for the 2025 Esports World Cup are getting more mature. After previously announcing the Tekken 8 Division by recruiting one of the world's top players, namely JDCR, the Kingdom's proud team has opened another division in the Fighting Games branch.
Through its official social media account, the RRQ team announced the formation of the Street Fighter 6 (SF6) division and recruited a Pro Player from Belgium, namely Takamura.
Takamura himself will compete with the RRQ flag for the first time at the Brussels Challenge Major which will take place from 17-19 May 2025. This tournament is part of the qualifications to get a slot for EWC 2025 which will take place next August.
About Takamura
Houmaid "Takamura" Rabie is a player who has had a long career in Street Fighter Esports. Active since 2016, players in the SF6 series who actively use Ken are quite active in participating and winning titles in European events.
Even though he has traveled the world for a long time on the European stage, it can be said that Takamura's achievements are not very flashy. Some of the best results he has achieved are first place in CPT 2024 World Warrior: Europe West #5, top eight in the Brussels Challenge Major Edition 2024, and position in the top 12 in the 2025 Capcom Cup 11 event.
Even so, he still has a big opportunity to bring RRQ's name to the EWC SF division this year. Hopefully this collaboration can bring positive results for both parties.
