T1 Faker is known as a League of Legends (LoL) pro player with numerous titles and personal achievements. Throughout his decade-long career in LoL esports, Faker has consistently competed in the LoL World Championship, or LoL Worlds.

It's no wonder why many LoL fans idolize this book-loving player. Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok has won 5 LoL World Championship titles (2013, 2015, 2016, 2023, and 2024), as well as 2 MSI titles (2016 and 2017). 

T1 Faker Caught Sleeping Before a Match

In addition to his numerous titles, Faker is also known for his unique personality. Several clips of Faker show him sleeping before and during League of Legends matches. This also drew reactions from fans who were surprised by Faker's actions on the LoL tournament stage.

In a recent post by Dunia Games, Faker was caught seemingly asleep during a match. Faker was seen closing his eyes, as if he were meditating or practicing relaxation techniques to calm his mind.

This isn't the first time such clips have surfaced online. Faker's unique behavior seems to highlight how monotonous facing opponents in the matches he was playing at the time must have been.

Even so, Faker's actions of falling asleep while playing LoL drew positive responses on social media. Many netizens understood Faker's behavior, considering him to be the GOAT in the world of esports.

“He's been the GOAT for a long time, BTW,” wrote @arhammh.

“He's become the GOAT not only in LoL but in the world of esports,” said dsixx13.

“He's the GOAT to the point where even his fans are going crazy, and this guy didn't even have to do mandatory military service,” said @verdy_akr.

Faker and T1 are currently competing for the LoL Worlds 2025 championship title against KT Rolster on Sunday (November 9) at the Dong'an Lake Sports Park Multifunctional Gymnasium in Chengdu City, China.
