Sunagakure or sometimes called village hidden by sand is one of the villages often appear the anime series Naruto. In the Fourth Shinobi World War, Sunagakure takes part by sending their best ninjas led by Gaara.

Did you know that aside from Gaara, other great ninjas came from Sunagakure? Do you know who? DuniaGames will share the names of ninjas from Sunagakure.

1. Third Kazekage

Kazekage is the title for the leader of Sunagakure and the third Kazekage is the strongest Kazekage in the history of the village. He owns a magnet release Kekkei Genkai which enables him to control iron sand. He’s also famous for being smart which is proven by his research on Shukaku and uses it to make iron sand that can be shaped like a doll. The jutsu created by Kazekage is known as Sunagakure’s strongest weapon.

2. Rasa

Rasa is the fourth Kazekage and also Gaara’s father. This character is also one of the strongest ninjas from Sunagakure. Rasa once beat Shukaku using his gold dust. Rasa also has magnet release Kekkei Genkai just like the third Kazekage.

3. Sasori

After betraying and then running away from Sunagakure, Sasori joins the Akatsuki and become a team with Deidara. Sasori is a strong ninja, even Deidara acknowledge that Sasori is stronger than him. Sasori a master of the art of puppetry which was taught to him by his grandmother, Chiyo. Sasori even manages to take down the Third Kazekage and transform him into one of his puppets. Many ninjas died in his hand during the Third Shinobi World Ward, giving him the nickname Sasori of the Red Sand.

4. Pakura

This girl is a famous ninja from Sunagakure and the only ninja that masters Scorch Release Kekkei Genkai which is a combination of fire and wind release. With her Kekkei Genkai, Pakura can create heat ball/orb that can evaporate all the moisture in the opponent’s body and “mummify” them. Combined with her speed, Pakura is a deadly ninja. Sadly Pakura is betrayed by her own village and killed by the citizen of Sunagakure.

5. Chiyo

Don’t underestimate this grandma. When she was young, Chiyo is the strongest female ninja and the eternal rival of Tsunade from Konohagakure. Not only strong, but Chiyo is also an expert in poison and healing ninjutsu. Chiyo also has knowledge of Fuinjutsu that’s being used to seal Shukaku in Gaara’s body
