BloodThirstyKings (BTK) has become one of the M3 Mobile Legends' biggest surprises so far. The American team has managed to roll over two of the most seasoned title-favorites in the Mobile Legends competitive scene, Blacklist International and EVOS SG.

In an interview, MobaZane and FwydChickn revealed how they managed to reach this point and come up with such effective gameplay at the M3.

"I would say, maybe about a year ago, we tried copying other regions’ a little bit. Because we started studying Indonesia and the Philippines MPLs. But, maybe for the last six months or even longer we’ve basically just been doing our own sort of strategies, what works what doesn’t. And, we’ve really just been trying to modify what’s best for us instead of just trying to copy any other MPL regions’ META," said MobaZane.

"Also, in NA, the METAs can be slightly or very different than what it is in Indonesia or Asia regions. So, sometimes we try to copy it, (but) it won’t always work because people play differently down there.

It wasn’t really about what we have to copy, (but) it’s about how we could change and mold our playstyle to beat the Asian playstyle and counter it, kind of, in a way. Because we always like playing our own playstyle. We didn’t like to copy," added FwydChickn.

It turns out that BTK also adopts the Observe-Imitate-Modify method to develop its own playstyle for the M3. After Blacklist International and EVOS SG fell victim to the NA team’s ferocity, will they also be able to beat ONIC PH in the upper bracket finals?
