Valorant officially introduces Corrode, a new map that will launch on June 25, 2025. Corrode features medieval-style streets that have been repurposed with industrial equipment, as well as layered defense systems that stand majestically over the vast salt flats. 

• Key features of the map include:
• Two Spike planting locations
• Three-lane layout
• Layered defenses and fallback positions
• Map design that reduces overuse of aggression abilities 

This 5v5 map is set in a French castle town that has been converted into a Radianite salt mining facility. Corrode is located on the world of Omega Earth which has been hit by extreme climate change. 

Corrode will be immediately available in Competitive pools at launch. For the first two weeks, players will lose 50% less RR if they lose on Corrode, but still earn 100% RR if they win. 

This aims to help players try and play the map in Competitive mode without having to worry about rank drops. In addition, Swiftplay will have a special Corrode queue from June 25 to 30.

The Act also features the Phaseguard Collection, a lineup of skins that feature cutting-edge technology and tactical precision. Weapons in this collection include the Vandal, Outlaw, Ghost, Bulldog, as well as a new melee weapon called Splitter. 

The latest Battlepass will also come with various exciting items such as the 5 Years Card: Kill All Radiants, Gun Buddy Bonsai, ATLAS // CMD Vandal, and many more.

Season 2025 // Act IV will release on June 25, with the Phaseguard Collection available starting June 26.
