Rivalry in the world of esports is often colored by the exchange of sharp words between players, especially when big teams meet on a big stage like PMSL SEA Fall 2024. In this event, Flyboy, a key player from BOOM Esports, made a statement that emphasized his team's superiority over Team Pandum.
In an exclusive interview session with the Dunia Games Team, Flyboy was asked about BOOM Esports' performance which seemed less than optimal in Week 2, especially compared to Team Pandum's successful comeback on Super Sunday. Flyboy, with his typical confidence, answered, "What do you want to learn? We've won 2 times in (PMSL SEA). Besides, if he can do that, he must have learned from us too."
Team Pandum Admits Learning from BOOM Esports, the PMSL SEA Champion
This statement confirms that BOOM Esports, as a team that has won PMSL SEA twice, feels no need to learn from other teams, including Team Pandum. According to Flyboy, Team Pandum is the one who should learn from BOOM Esports' experience and achievements.
However, not remaining silent, Coach DYNS from Team Pandum gave a wise response to Flyboy's statement. In a separate interview, Coach DYNS admitted that his team did learn from BOOM Esports, but he also emphasized the importance of learning from anyone, regardless of status or position.
"Yes, if you say learning from BOOM, that's right. There are several things we learned from him, it's only natural that he is also the SEA champion. If you say why learn from Pandum, it needs to be underlined that learning can be from anyone. It doesn't have to be from a lower team, a higher team, learning from anyone can be input," said Coach DYNS.
This attitude reflects Team Pandum's more open and humble approach in facing competition. They understand that the learning process is an important part of their journey, regardless of the position or achievements of other teams.
