Riot Games has announced VCT Pacific 2026, which will begin on January 22, marking the start of a new competitive year for the Valorant championship in the Pacific region. The league returns with new teams, an updated format, and a continued commitment to long-term ecosystem growth.

The 2026 season will welcome two new teams, Full Sense and VARREL, to VCT Pacific, along with the return of Nongshim RedForce. Additionally, there will be several new formats, and for the first time, two roadshows for Stage 1 and Stage 2 Finals. 

“With new teams, fresh faces, and for the first time, two live roadshows in Ho Chi Minh City and Busan, our 2026 season will be the most exciting yet. This is the fourth year of VCT Pacific, and I’m incredibly proud of how far our league has come. All of this is thanks to the incredible support from fans and communities across APAC. I hope you’ll all join us as we kick off VCT Pacific 2026,” said Jake Sin, Head of VALORANT Esports, Asia Pacific.

What's New in VCT Pacific 2026?

Here are some of the new features you can expect this year:

• Kickoff will introduce a triple elimination format, giving teams more opportunities to compete while providing fans with more matches to enjoy.
• Skirmish Side Selection will be replaced with a 1v1 duel based on aim skills to determine map selection advantages. 
• Stage 2 Play-ins will introduce a new path for top Challengers teams to compete for a spot in the Playoffs and a chance to qualify for VALORANT Champions, marking a step towards a more open competitive ecosystem. 

Bringing VCT Pacific Closer to Fans Across APAC

Two live roadshows have been confirmed for 2026: 

• The Stage 1 Finals in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, which will be the first official VCT event held in the country. 
• The Stage 2 Finals in Busan, South Korea, expanding VCT's live event presence to a new city in Korea.
