Bandai Namco is teasing fans again with the latest character trailer for the upcoming Tekken 8. This time, a character named Victor Chevalier, a French fighter is featured in the trailer.

Victor is a newcomer to this fighting game series. His presence in Tekken 8 is described as an adult man dressed neatly in a suit that makes him look like a secret agent. He also uses a gun, knife, and even a shining katana which makes him look like a professional secret agent. Below is Victor Chevalier character trailer that you can watch.

Based on the trailer, Victor appears to have gadgets that allow him to move and protect himself. This character is voiced by veteran French actor Vincent Cassel who is also known for his recent appearances in Westworld. This character reveal was one of the characters revealed in the final session of the announcement of the entire Tekken 8 roster which will end on November 12, 2023, for the reveal of the final character for the upcoming game.

Katsuhiro Harada, the director of Tekken 8, expressed his enthusiasm for welcoming this character through his tweet. “Victor is actually the first French fighter for the TEKKEN franchise. I've been thinking about the idea of a French character for a long time and it finally came to fruition. Thank you to Vincent Cassel for inspiring me and lending your voice," Harada wrote.

Victor is the thirty-first character after many previously revealed Tekken 8 characters, including Alisa Bosconovitch, Lee Chaolan, Devil Jin, Panda, Zafina, Law Marshall, Nina Williams, Asuka Kazama, Azucena, Feng Wei, Jack-8, Jun Kazama, Asuka Kazama, Jin Kazama, and many other popular characters from this franchise.

Meanwhile, Tekken 8 will be released on January 26 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S devices. Stay tuned for more information about this upcoming fighting game until its release.
