Dracule Mihawk is the number one swordsman in the world. Even his strength is equivalent to a Shanks who is a Yonko. So far, he had joined the Shichibukai, however he eventually resigned.
As a strong character, Mihawk is also the teacher of Roronoa Zoro who is actually his rival. Well, as a swordsman, there are several deadly techniques of Dracule Mihawk that are very worthy for us to know.
The author has written a list of Dracule Mihawk's deadly techniques you need to know! let’s check them out!
1. Kokuto Issen
Kokuto Issen can literally be interpreted as a black sword or a flash. Through this technique, Mihawk swings his sword to launch an invisible slash that can cut everything. The reach of this technique is so distant.
Its power can’t be underestimated, in which the slash could cut Don Krieg's ship in half. With incredible destructive power, Kokuto Issen will be a really dangerous technique for Mihawk's opponent.
2. Stronger Slash
This technique is even crazier than Kokuto Issen! Mihawk swung Yoru down so that it launched a large and distant slashing wave. Mihawk was seen using this move to try to attack Shirohige who was unfortunately blocked by Diamond Jozu.
According to a mariner, this technique is the strongest slashing technique in the world which, despite its terrifying name, is actually just an ordinary attack that can still be resisted. Although powerful, this attack is actually useful only as a measure of the distance between Mihawk and his opponent, which in that context is Shirohige.
3. Chi o Hau Zangeki
This attack is not only powerful, but also fast! The reason is that the Chi o Hau Zangeki technique can make Luffy get stuck even though he uses Gear 2 which is predicted to be one of the techniques that can make him move fast.
In fact, Mihawk launched this move from a considerable distance plus in the middle of the battlefield in which it was difficult to read every movement of his opponents.
4. Kokuto Kogetsu
Kokuto Kogetsu can be interpreted as the Black Crescent Sword where Mihawk swipes at Yoru at high speed luckily to produce several medium sized slashing waves to hit the opponent from short to medium distances.
The attack was first seen being used against Luffy, who had a hard time dodging it. This attack is one of Mihawk's attacks which is actually quite troublesome.
5. Kokuto Arahoshi
Kokuto Arahoshi is a very special counterattack. This technique makes Mihawk wait for his opponent's next move while holding his Black Sword with both hands on his back. As soon as the enemy attacked, Mihawk retaliated quickly with a powerful downward slash.
This was first seen attempting to be used against Luffy's extremely fast Gomu Gomu no Jet Bazooka, but Luffy had a hunch that his arm would be cut off so he aimed his fist at the ground to give Mihawk no chance of offense.
