One Piece chapter 1100 again features interesting information besides the story of Kuma's dark past. This time Oda revealed that Ace had defeated one of the Shichibukai members before his name was famous and became Shirohige's crew. Who is this Shichibukai figure?

Fans assume that the one defeated by Ace is the one who is said to have burns. The burns were likely caused by Ace's fire. He is also the one who has the last Road Poneglyph to the Laugh Tale. The identity of this character remains a mystery until now.

This makes sense since Ace was once offered to join the Shichibukai but he declined. In the end, it was Kuma who took the place of the Shichibukai member that Ace defeated. Ace did so after forming the Spade Pirates and eating Mera Mera no Mi.

Then on his first adventure in Sabaody, Ace met an opponent that was quite strong for him, namely Vice Admiral Draw. This battle was quite difficult for Ace considering his opponent was a Haki user. For the first time, Ace managed to awaken his Haoshoku Haki here and defeated Draw.
