Square Enix is sharing a guide for anyone live streaming or taking screenshots of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. But Square Enix's Creative Director, Tetsuya Nomura, reminded players that 'spoiler alerts' can be used.

Players can still stream on sites like Twitch and YouTube and share on social media. But Square Enix asked them to provide trademarks such as CHARACTER DESIGN: TETSUYA NOMURA / ROBERTO FERRARI and LOGO ILLUSTRATION: YOSHITAKA AMANO.

For streaming, Nomura says that there are no limits on recording or sharing as a whole, so everything can be screenshot or recorded. This is why Square Enix requires that spoiler warnings be used on all content created and also that thumbnails do not feature images with heavy spoilers.

“When posting anything closely related to the game's story on social media and video sharing sites, I ask that players include a spoiler warning so as not to impact the experience of those who have never played it. I would also be very grateful if you didn't use any scenes from important parts of the story in the video thumbnails," said Nomura on his X (Twitter) account.

FFVII Rebirth will be released on PS5 and PC on February 29th 2024. It is possible that this game will also be released on Xbox Series S/X a few months later.
