Plot

Shaw was caught and he was locked up in a very soundproof and dark underground so that his scream, any big noises he made, or any interaction won't be heard from outside. The story will begin with the tension when Shaw finds and finds out what happened, and tries to escape with the help of victims who shared the same fate as him.

Since the title of this movie is called The Black Phone, it must have something to do with a black phone in the story. The movie is set in the 1970s in suburban Colorado, where children were heavily hunted by a serial killer known as The Grabber whom we have told you about on the previous point. Release Date

The Black Phone is stated to be released on February 4, 2022, but it's not in Indonesia. This movie will premiere simultaneously with a science fiction movie of Roland Emmerich's Moonfall and Jackass Forever. The movie was previously slated to be released on January 28 where it would have opened alongside Morbius but was pushed back a week, and finally, the movie was set to release on February 2022.

The release date of the movie in Indonesia is different from its release date overseas, and it is reported that The Black Phone will be released in Indonesian cinemas on June 24, 2022. So it is estimated that there are still about 4 months left for the movie to be officially come out in the country.
