Suikoden is one of the best RPG series of all time according to RPG gamers. Konami announced that it would release a remake version of Suikoden and Suikoden II with the title Suikoden I and II HD Remaster Delay Release for This Reason!. Unfortunately, after being postponed, there is no information regarding the release date of this game!

Suikoden presents an epic story which unfortunately is not in sequence from the first to the fifth series. Therefore, for those of you who want to play this game again (especially for the first time) you have to know the order of play so you can explore the storyline in that order. The following is the order of playing Suikoden that you need to know based on the story:

• Suikoden Tactics (PS2)
• Suikoden V (PS2)
• Suikoden (PSX, PSP, PS4, PC, Saturn, Switch, Xbox One)
• Suikoden II (PSX, PSP, PS4, PC, Switch, Xbox One)
• Suikoden III (PS2

  You also need to know that Suikoden Card Stories (GBA) retells the events of Suikoden II. The author did not include Suikoden Tierkreis (DS) and Suikoden: Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki (PSP) on this list because both games are outside the original world of Suikoden.
