The Beginning: Born in Darkness

In Castle Aberleen, part of the Moniyan Empire, famous for its noble families full of intrigue and magical powers, Marcel Paxley was born. He was not just an ordinary child—he came from the House of Paxley, whose reputation had been tarnished by his father's actions.

His father, after a series of internal conflicts within the family, eventually took his own life, leaving a stain on the Paxley name. As a result, the young Marcel immediately became the subject of ridicule and insults.  

Every day he was bullied by those around him—not only because of his family bloodline, but because everyone saw him as a symbol of the family's wickedness.  

But Marcel... kept smiling to hide his sadness. Because he still had someone who strengthened him, namely the love that kept him going: his mother.

Love & Camera: Gift and Destiny

It was his mother who introduced Marcel to the thing he loved most: cameras and photography. On one of his birthdays, his mother gave him a camera and taught him how to see the world through the lens—how to capture a moment, then preserve it on film as a memory.

However, that happiness did not last long. His mother eventually left the Paxley family suddenly, unable to bear seeing Marcel's physical and mental health continue to deteriorate due to the family's “discipline” — and she never returned.

Seeing his mother leave was the most painful thing Marcel had ever experienced. Until one day, when he was nearly killed by his family's abuse... something happened.

The Awakening of Power & the Birth of Clemar

In a state of near unconsciousness, Marcel saw his beloved camera on the wall—as if it were staring back at him. 

As his consciousness faded, he suddenly found himself inside the camera itself—and from there, something strange was born: another entity named Clemar, who was half of Marcel's own soul.

Two separate souls—one elegant and calm (Marcel), the other wild and direct (Clemar)—now lived in an inseparable bond. The pain Marcel once felt was now isolated within the camera… and he stood reborn as a different person.

With new powers from the camera's dark magic, Marcel became a feared figure—not only as the mysterious Paxley noble, but as someone with the power to change reality through his lens.

The Wound That Never Heals

Although his powers were now terrifying, Marcel had actually locked away some of his emotions inside Clemar—because he believed that separating the pain from himself was the way to stay alive.

But one day, news of his mother's death hit him again: the mother who had left him was alive, married, and had a daughter named Melissa before she eventually died of illness.

Clemar—the part of him that lived in the camera—was angry and confused. He questioned the meaning of all his suffering if his mother and her new family never knew him.

Feeling unstable, Marcel experienced memory loss and “disappeared” momentarily into the area around the castle. All of this made him realize that he had to face himself — and he did so in a unique way: he photographed himself... then entered the picture.

Finally United: Two Souls, One Purpose

Inside the camera's world full of memories, Marcel saw his own form, which had been alienated and lonely all this time. He finally understood: all this time, he had only been trying to protect himself from pain... and that created two sides — himself and Clemar.

But by facing this, the two sides finally found a meeting point. Clemar was no longer just a tool. 

She was a witness, a friend, and half of Marcel's soul. And Marcel learned that the world was not about perfection... but about an imperfect reality, full of wounds, but... real.

With his camera in hand and a new purpose in his heart, Marcel now stands ready to embrace the future—seeing the world not only as a photographer, but also as someone who understands how life, love, sadness, and memories are intertwined.
