In a recent interview with Oda, he explained that several years ago, 2017, to be exact, Tite Kubo publicly stated that he hated Eiichiro Oda. The reason was that the One Piece manga at that time surpassed Bleach’s sales.

“Do you want to know that I hate Kubo too? Yes, I hate him too! That's it. But all of his statements don't sound harsh to me," Oda said.

Kubo said that with a smile and a joking tone, so did Oda. Even though they say they hate each other, they actually respect each other. Oda was very impressed with the Bleach, and they are also from the same generation. According to Oda, Tite Kubo is a hard worker and a competitive person. The point is they don't really hate each other because it's practically just a joke.
