Amazon Prime Video released the trailer for The Boys season 3. The series that tells the story of this abusive superhero group returns after presenting a story that hangs at the end of its second season.

In the official trailer, Homelander seems busy clarifying in front of the media about his previous love story. As is known, Homelander had a romantic relationship with fellow superhero, Stormfront. However, Stormfront did not manage to survive the events at the end of season 2.

Starlight, who since two seasons ago could not stand the behavior of The Seven, especially Homelander, still survives. Starlight seems to hold back every emotion forced to be okay in front of the camera, with Homelander by her side.

On the other hand, The Boys is planning a way to bring down the Seven. After Translucent, there are no more superheroes that they have defeated. One strategy is to use a super serum that can provide strength for 24 hours.

It is shown that Butcher has super powers like Homelander which is able to shoot lasers from his eyes. So far, even without superpowers Butcher can pose a threat to superheroes. With this, Butcher and Homelander could be on par, at least for a day.

In addition, it was also disclosed that Homelander is still being intimidating and manipulative. There is one scene where Homelander is bullying A-Train.

Plus, superheroes started to appear from the The Boys comics, like the Crimson Countess who might fill the void in the Seven formation left by Stormfront. Then there's Soldier Boy who doesn't know which side to side with.

Will Soldier Boy help Homelander? Or will he actually join the gang of The Boys to bring down Homelander?
