The soccer world is currently stormy with the rumor of Chelsea’s midfielder transfer, Willian, to Arsenal. This rumor is closer to the truth after this Brazilian player surprisingly appears on eFootball Pro Evolution Soccer 2021 (PES 2021) Arsenal special edition trailer.

Arsenal is one of the European soccer teams that have a special edition with PES 2021. In the trailer to promote the special edition shown on Wednesday (5/8), it shows new players that will play for Arsenal. Even though it’s yet to be confirmed, Willian already appeared wearing an Arsenal kit.

When Willian shows on the video, a catchphrase also appears “Welcome to the Emirates” pointing to the stadium where Arsenal plays, complete with the PES 2021 logo at the bottom of the screen. Believing they have made a mistake, Arsenal’s social media account immediately delete the trailer video. Luckily, a few netizens manage to snap Willan in the video.

PES 2021 will be released officially on September 15th, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Steam. Konami said that this game is not entirely new, but instead a Season Update for PES 2020.

Sadly, this update doesn’t come for free. Aside from players must have PES 2020, players also have to pay for Rp240.000 for PES 2021 Season Update Standard Edition on Steam.

Konami stated that this move was taken to focus on developing PES 2022 that will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
