Publisher Outright Games has announced that it will release Transformers: Earthspark - Expedition, a game based on the animated series Transformers: Earthspark, on October 13th 2023. Transformers: Earthspark - Expedition will be available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC in North and South America. The Outright Games company has also started showing the latest trailer for this game.

Transformers: Earthspark - Expedition will invite fans to enter the world of Transformers and control one of its iconic heroes, Bumblebee. In this epic journey, players will drive, fight, and experience the thrilling thrill of adventure. This game aims to recreate the environment and feel found in the revolutionary animated series.

Bumblebee will embark on a solo adventure to face a mysterious threat from his past and stop Dr. Meridian, also known as "Mandroid," the main villain in the series, is out to restore lost pieces of ancient technology.

Apart from the familiar Transformers characters, such as Optimus Prime, Grimlock, Skullcruncher, Nova Storm, and Skywarp, this game will also introduce new characters called Terrans, who are the first Transformers born on Earth. Players will be able to explore three different biomes as Bumblebee, complete various missions, and unlock new abilities and upgrades as the game progresses.

The animated series Transformers: Earthspark first aired exclusively on Paramount+ in the United States in November 2022, and was later available on several Nickelodeon channels worldwide. With a total of 26 episodes, the series follows the story of a new breed of Transformers trying to find their identity and purpose among the Autobots, Decepticons, and the human families who adopted them.

Executive producers of the animated series include Ant Ward (Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and Nicole Dubuc (Transformers: Rescue Bots), with contributions from co-executive producer and developer Dale Malinowski (Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles). Nickelodeon's Conrad Montgomery and Entertainment One's Mikiel Houser oversaw production on the series, with Kari Rosenberg serving as executive in charge of production and for eOne.
