When Marvel Cinematic Universe reaching the end of Phase 3, Marvel Studios has prepared a few new projects after the epic finale in Avengers: Endgame. One of the leaked projects that the studio currently working on is the 'Dark Avengers'. Dark Avengers is created by Brian Michael Bendis and introduced in 2009. The story takes place after the Skrull Secret Invasion.

With people and governments have lost their faith in Avengers, Norman Osborn is chosen as the head of the reformed S.H.I.E.L.D, and later known as H.A.M.M.E.R. He reforms Thunderbolts, a team that consists of villains, into a new Avengers team masking in heroic identities.

7. Noh-Varr

Noh-Varr becomes the most important figure between earth superheroes and Skrulls in Secret Invasion. When Normal Osborn becoming a member of Dark Avengers, he recruits Noh-Varr to be Captain Marvel into the team. After Noh-Varr successfully on his first mission on beating Morgan le Fay, Noh-Varr finally realizes that the team created by Norman Osborn consists of villains disguising as superheroes. Realizing the truth, Noh-Varr leaves Dark Avengers and hiding from Osborn and his men.

6. Skaar

Bruce Banner turns out to have a son with an extraterrestrial Caiera named Skaar. Skaar lives on a planet named Skaar. He was born from a cocoon and immediately born in the form of a teenage human. He grows so fast, even he already looks like a teenager in a year.

As time goes by, he becomes incredibly strong, smart, and wild, as a result of the harsh conflict on his planet. Aside from having his father’s power, Skaar also once joined Dark Avengers after recruited by Osborn, even though he’s working as a double agent who also works for New Avengers.

5. Ares

Ares is a God of War from Greek mythology as well as the archvillain of Thor. Ares can be said as one of the few characters in the Marvel universe with a complicated background because of his status as an anti-hero. But in the comic, Ares once told to had joined Dark Avengers. Rivaling Thor, Ares managed to prove himself stronger than the Asgardian god. Sadly, in Siege storyline which released in 2019, Ares was told to be ripped in two by Sentry.

4. Ms. Marvel (Moonstone)

Moonstone is one of Carol Danver’s villains who struggling to become Ms.Marvel. For your information, this female character is not a superhero. In the comics, she sometimes told as a supervillain and antihero. She is also known as one of the Thunderbolts’ members, it’s not surprising that her behavior is similar to Loki’s, which is unpredictable, resulting to many Marvel fans touched with her character who often irritating and pity.

3. Norman Osborn

Norman Osborn serves as the brain or initiator of Dark Avengers. When he dons his Green Goblin suit, he managed to steal Iron Man’s armor from Tony Stark’s warehouse and modify it into Iron Patriot. He also managed to realize his cunning ambition to create a new superhero group by recruiting other supervillains. For that reason, many superheroes and even other Marvel characters get tricked by him.

2. Ragnarok

Ragnarok is a clone of Thor with evil personality, he recruited by Norman Osborn as the second generation of Dark Avengers. Even though his power is yet to surpass Thor’s, but Ragnarok managed to prove himself as the perfect copy of the Asgardian god’ Before joining Dark Avengers, Ragnarok defeated Storm, executed Goliath, and beat all New Avengers members alone.

1. Sentry

Sentry is one of the strongest characters in Marvel Superheroes. Similar to Steve Rogers, Sentry is a result of an accident by United States governments in the 1940s. Sentry, whose real name is Robert Reynold, accidentally entered a laboratory and drank the stored super serum. As a result, Reynold turned into a superhero named Sentry as well as creating Void due to his hallucination.

With his weakness, Osborn manages to manipulate Sentry’s mind and make him join as the first generation of Dark Avengers. Sentry has a superpower akin to Superman, but stronger because he can manipulate materials on a molecular scale. Even though he is the strongest member of the team, but Osborn is very seldom to make him obeying his rules. During Dark Avenger’s journey, Sentry keeps struggling with his evil alter ego until he loses and creating a massacre in the Siege storyline.
