Themed Mode: Frosty Funland
In the latest PUBG Mobile Version 4.1 update, players can explore Frosty Funland, a themed mode featuring the snowy city of Penguinville. The area was built by a civilization of intelligent penguins who migrated from their melting homeland. Players can meet the Ninja Penguin, the game’s first AI companion named PowNin, which can be controlled through voice or text commands and has unique ninja combat skills.
Additionally, the Frosty Funland Themed Trial challenges squads of four to collect party invitations while fending off enemies. Completing the challenge unlocks a special celebration and exclusive rewards for successful players.
New Event: Frost Festival
Starting December 12, 2025, the Frost Festival will bring festive vibes with activities like Wintercrest Hall and Festive Tree, offering special in-game rewards. Players can also join the New Year Countdown Firework event and take part in the Frosty Funland Charity Campaign.
Interestingly, PUBG Mobile will donate USD 100,000 (around IDR 1.6 billion) to support penguin conservation efforts in South Africa and South America once the global milestone is reached. Participants will also receive an exclusive digital charity certificate as a token of appreciation.
Classic Mode Improvements
PUBG Mobile Version 4.1 brings PMGC 2025-themed elements to Classic Mode. Players can visit PMGC Venues in Erangel and Livik, find exclusive photo spots, and earn the Champion Pack filled with rare supplies.
A new area called Boatyard has also been added to Erangel, introducing Loot Truck and Move Loot Crate systems that create new strategic opportunities in battle. Firearms have received multiple adjustments, including more realistic sound effects and low-ammo alerts, further enhancing the combat experience.
Ranked and Additional Modes
The Cycle 9 Season 27 is now live, featuring new rewards and systems. Crazy Chicken Day returns every Friday and weekend, offering bonuses like Double Earnings and Rank Protection. Meanwhile, the Ranked Arena Event will run from November 27, 2025, to January 1, 2026, featuring Team Deathmatch, Assault, and Domination modes.
In Metro Royale Chapter 29, players will discover new Snow Crates, an improved reward system, and custom match settings for 1v1 battles.
Home and World of Wonder
The update also refreshes Home Mode with Polar Wonderland and Esports Room, adding interactive objects like the Slide, Merry-Go-Round, and Electric Guitar. Meanwhile, World of Wonder (WOW) now features a Resource Center for prefab creation, along with new vehicles and items such as the Penguin Snowmobile and Magic Ice Skates. Creators can also design custom missions and earn rewards through the WOW Pass.
New Collaborations
PUBG Mobile Version 4.1 will also introduce several major collaborations, including with BABYMONSTER and Porsche, with more details to be revealed soon.
