One Piece anime has run for more than 1000 episodes until it reaches the Wano arc. Many places have been passed by Luffy and friends during their adventures in the ocean. On this occasion, the writer would like to discuss the order of all the saga in the One Piece anime, from the beginning to the newest one!

1. East Blue Saga

East Blue became the first saga where Luffy started his adventure as a pirate. Luffy met his first four nakama, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Sanji. For the first time, a character like Shanks is also shown in a very young Luffy's flashback.

Luffy also meets various pirates such as Buggy, Kuro, Don Krieg, and Marines who master Logia abilities like Smoker. The East Blue Saga consists of 7 arcs, namely Romance Dawn, Orange Town, Syrup Village, Baratie, Arlong Park, Loguetown, and Warship Island.

2. Alabasta Saga

In the Alabasta saga, for the first time Luffy faces a Shichibukai, Crocodile who is also a Logia fruit ability user. After defeating Crocodile, Luffy gets his bounty increased to 100 million Belly and saves the kingdom from his friend, Vivi.

Luffy also got two new friends apart from Vivi, namely Chopper and Robin. The Alabasta Saga consists of 7 arcs, Reverse Mountain, Whiskey Peak, Diary of Coby - Helmeppo, Little Garden, Drum Island, Alabasta, and Post Alabasta.

3. Sky Island Saga

Sky Island or Skypiea becomes an interesting saga because Luffy and friends start to adventure to places that ordinary people cannot visit. Through the Knockout Stream, the Going Merry was successfully thrown onto the sky island. In this saga, Luffy and friends also meet a Logia ability user who claims to be a god, Enel.

It was also revealed that Gol D. Roger had visited this place to find the poneglyph as a clue to Laugh Tale. The Sky Island saga consists of the Goat Island, Ruluka Island, Jaya, Skypiea, and G-8 arcs. Arc G-8 can actually be called a filler episode because it's not in the manga.

4. Water 7 Saga

This is a saga that is liked by almost all One Piece fans. Here we see Luffy's struggle trying to save Robin from CP9. For the first time, Luffy also uses Gear Second and Gear Third to fight Rob Lucci. After this saga, Luffy again received an increase in bounty to 300 million Belly.

The Straw Hats also get a new ship, Sunny Go as well as a new partner, Franky. Saga Water 7 consists of seven arcs, including Long Ring Rong Land, Ocean's Dream, Foxy Return, Water 7, Enies Lobby, Boss Luffy Historical Special, and Post Enies Lobby.

5. Thriller Bark Saga

Luffy meets another Shichibukai, Gecko Moria. After being involved in a dispute, Moria with his army of zombies attacked Luffy and friends. Some of the Straw Hats lost their shadows. After Luffy defeated Moria, their shadows returned. The Straw Hats are back with a new partner, Brook.

Interestingly, another Shichibukai came after Moria was defeated, Kuma. The exhausted Straw Hats have absolutely no energy to face Kuma. But since Kuma himself is a member of the Revolutionary Army, he can't possibly kill Luffy. Thus he let them live their own way.

The Thriller Bark Saga consists of 4 arcs, namely Ice Hunter, Chopper Man Special, Thriller Bark, and Spa Island.

6. Summit War Saga

This saga runs quite a bit, starting from the arrival of the Straw Hats at Sabaody until Ace is killed at Marineford. After being thrown into Amazon Lily, Luffy heard that his older brother, Ace, would be put to death. He also asked Hancock's help to infiltrate Impel Down.

Unfortunately Luffy was late so he had to catch up to Marineford with the many friends he got at Impel Down. There was a big battle in the Marineford arc involving many strong fighters. The Summit War saga consists of arcs, Sabaody Archipelago, Amazon Lily, Straw Hat's Separation, Impel Down, Little East Blue, Marineford, Post War, and Crossover Toriko.

7. Fish Man Island Saga

Entering this saga, One Piece has entered a time skip where Luffy and friends have been training for 2 years with different teachers and places. They met again at Sabaody to continue their journey. The Marines realized this and went back after the Straw Hats.

They then went to Fish Man Island and met Jinbei. Hody Jones and the Sun Pirates are the main antagonists in this saga. Luffy and friends can beat them quite easily. Here Jinbei also promised to join Luffy's group later. This saga only consists of two arcs, Return to Sabaody and Fish Man Island.

8. Dressrosa Saga

In this saga, Luffy begins to form an alliance with Trafalgar Law, who has the same goal as him, to bring down Kaido. Before that, they faced Caesar Clown who was the main antagonist in the Punk Hazard arc. Caesar is a very dangerous gas-type logia devil fruit user.

After that, they continued on to Dressrosa and met Doflamingo. Law wants to take his revenge on this Shichibukai. Luffy also with his new style, Gear Fourth, managed to beat Doffy. The Dressrosa saga consists of the Z Ambition, Punk Hazard, Caesar Retrieval, and Dressrosa arcs.

9. Yonkou Saga

This is the latest saga in the anime, where Luffy begins to face Yonkou like Big Mom and Kaido. After going to Zou, they learned about Kozuki Oden and Wano. They went to Whole Cake Island to steal Big Mom's poneglyph. Luffy and his friends manage to escape even though they haven't been able to beat Big Mom.

At Wano, they meet again with Big Mom who has made an alliance with Kaido. Their combined strength would be very terrible. The Yonkou Saga consists of the Silver Mine, Zou, Marine Rookie, Whole Cake Island, Reverie, and Wano arcs.
