Valorant Introduces Primordium Collection, to be Released Along with Episode 8 Act II

Riot Games and Valorant have revealed the Primordium Collection, a line of skins inspired by the ancestors of lava and doom. Featuring a flowing lava theme with increasing intensity as the player shoots more and as the weapon cools down in the middle, this skin lineup will also introduce a new melee dual swords archetype with unique attack, dash, and equip animations — Blades of Primordia.

The Primordium Collection will feature an Easter egg finisher that will transport players to another world in each finisher variant, as well as custom gunshot sounds. Weapons included in the Primordium Collection are Vandal, Phantom, Spectre, Shorty, and a new dual sword. Episode 8 Act II also introduces a new Battle Pass, featuring items such as the Retrowave Revolver, Shellspire Sword, and Spray Sending Love.

In addition, to welcome the 2024 VCT season, Riot Games has put together special team capsules, each of which is tailored to represent the unique identity of the participating VCT teams.
