Jakarta, August 30, 2024 - Marking the end of the Challengers league across Asia Pacific, Riot Games announced the final list of the 10 best teams from across the region that will compete in VCT Ascension Pacific, a prestigious tournament presented by Acer, Intel, and BenQ. The tournament will take place at BritAma Arena, North Jakarta, from September 20 to 29, 2024.

VCT Ascension Pacific

This tournament will be a determining event for teams competing for a place in the 2025 VCT Pacific league. The BOOM Esports team will represent Indonesia, competing against nine other teams, namely RIDDLE from Japan, Sin Prisa Gaming from South Korea, Revenant Esports from South Asia. In addition, there are FULL SENSE from Thailand, NAOS Esports from the Philippines, Rapid Lofi from Vietnam, Disguised from Malaysia/Singapore, Oblivion Force from Taiwan/Hong Kong, and JFT Esports from Oceania.

VCT Ascension Pacific will use a double-elimination bracket format featuring 10 teams. Matches will be played in a best-of-3 format, while the lower bracket final and grand final will be played in a best-of-5 format. Teams will be grouped and divided into brackets based on their regional results at last year's Ascension, with the SGMY and JPN regions advancing directly to the next round.

The tournament will last for eight days, starting with the early bracket round held from September 20 to 24 at 11:00 WIB. Meanwhile, the last three days of matches will take place from September 27 to 29 at 13:00 WIB.

Ascension Pacific will be held live at the BritAma Arena indoor sports hall, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta. Ticket sales for the three-day Ascension Pacific Jakarta finals will begin on September 1, 2024. Early bird tickets will be available at a special discount for the first three days of sales. In addition, VIP tickets are also available in a special bundle for exclusive access to the Ascension finals.
