The SEGA ATLUS Festival officially took place at the Mall of Indonesia (MOI), Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, last weekend, February 7-8, 2026. This event was held as part of an effort by two Japanese game publishers, SEGA and Atlus, to strengthen their relationship with the Indonesian gaming community.

The games that visitors could try out firsthand covered a wide range of genres, from action and racing to classic and new RPGs. The games featured included: Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, Sonic Rumble, Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties, Football Manager 26, SEGA Football Club Champions 2026, and games from the Persona series, including Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Royal.

While covering the event last Saturday and Sunday, I witnessed the incredible enthusiasm of fans, who formed very long lines. One such line was seen at the Sonic Racing Cross Worlds booth. At this booth, visitors could try playing the game while using the latest DLC characters.

At the Sonic Racing CrossWorlds booth, visitors could try a live gameplay demo of the racing game, one of the main titles showcased during the festival. Sonic Racing CrossWorlds' inclusion in the game demo list also meant visitors could get a hands-on experience and participate in activities at the booth to win exclusive prizes.

Visitors could try out several characters from the latest DLC, such as Ren Amamiya or Joker from Persona 5 Royal, Ichiban Kasuga from Like a Dragon, and Hatsune Miku. There was also other exciting content from season passes 1 through 4.

Furthermore, the event also featured the Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Asia Show Tour 2025-2026, a competition or quick racing session held as part of the festival, where participants and spectators could watch the races and have the chance to win prizes like autographed T-shirts from the development team.
