Good news has come for Pokemon GO Trainers for the community day event in July. Initially there was a Community Day Classic Squirtle event on July 9, then due to some technical problems this event was repeated to be held again on July 23. After that, there will still be Poliwag Community Day which will take place on July 30, 2023, 14:00 to 17:00 local time.

So in total there are 3 community day events for July 2023. It's really fun to hunt down rare shiny pokemon when their appearance is made easy in Pokemon GO game.

For the next Community Day, we will get many Poliwag spawns during the event. Don't forget to play Pokemon GO during this event so you can get shiny Poliwag to complete your Pokedex.

Poliwag has 2 different final evolutions, so at least you can get two tails so they can evolve to their final form.

If you evolve Poliwag or Poliwhirl into Poliwrath, you will get a special Counter fast move. Then, if it evolves to Politoed, it will get a special charge move Ice Beam. Don't forget to provide Kings Rock items because evolving to Politoed requires these items.

You can get this moveset if you evolve it during the event from 14:00 to 22:00 at night.

The bonus that you can enjoy during the Poliwag Community Day event is a 75% discount on the distance of hatching eggs, 2 times the candy for catching pokemon, and it's easier to get XL candy.

Use incense to make Poliwag spawn around your avatar and Lure Module to make Poliwag appear around Pokestops. Incense and lure modules will be on for 3 hours straight during the event. If you exchange pokemon, you will get 1 additional special trade and a 50% discount on stardust for trades.

If you are not satisfied with catching Poliwag until 17:00, you can defeat Poliwhirl who spawns in the Raid Battle so you can get Poliwag to appear again. For 30 minutes, Poliwag with the same high shiny chance as on Community Day will appear within a 300 meter radius of the Gym if you manage to defeat Poliwhirl.

This raid is local, that is, you have to raid in the position where the gym is located, meaning you can't use the Remote Raid Pass (Raid Remote Participants can't join).
