WCG 2024
WCG 2024 was full of innovation. It kicked off with the Tekken 8 Challenge in Korea and held tournaments in eight countries, including Indonesia. The climax was a festival in Indonesia that attracted 38,731 visitors. A total of 233 influencers participated, making WCG 2024 a massive success.
Exciting Innovations in WCG 2025
This year, WCG will introduce many exciting changes, such as:

Creator Rumble: This competition will be bigger, featuring a new format that combines strategy and stunning visuals. Creator Rumble has become a WCG icon, drawing in many participants and viewers.

National Showdowns: This new format replaces Challenges and Rivals. The competition starts in August with the grand finale at a major festival, bringing together nearly 300 creators from around the world.
More Creators and Bigger Prizes
This year, over 300 creators will join, double the number from last year. The total prize pool is USD 300,000.
Collaboration with Smilegate
Smilegate returns as the main sponsor. Their social platform, STOVE, will serve as the official community hub, connecting gamers and influencers with various interactive events.
History of WCG
Since 2001, WCG has awarded USD 5.86 million (Rp 91.8 billion) in prizes. They have collaborated with over 100 global partners and been viewed by 863.52 million people. WCG has also partnered with tech giants like Samsung, Microsoft, and Tencent.
