The official website and social media for the upcoming television anime Wind Breaker based on Satoru Nii's manga released their first video trailer and shared details of the main cast and staff working on the anime. The Wind Breaker anime is planned to be released to fill anime broadcasts in April 2024. This anime will be done by animation studio CloverWorks. This anime will be directed by Toshifumi Akai, who previously worked on Fate/Grand Order Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia. While Hiroshi Seko will handle the series composition, Taishi Kawakami will be the character designer, and Ryo Takahashi will compose the anime's music.

Apart from that, the Wind Breaker anime also shared details of the voice actors who will play the characters. The voice cast is filled with many popular seiyuu who are well-known to many anime fans. The following is a list that has been revealed.

• Haruka Sakura is voiced by Yuma Uchida (who plays Megumi in Jujutsu Kaisen)
• Kyotaro Sugishita is voiced by Koki Uchiyama (plays Miyamura in Horimiya)
• Hayato Suo voiced by Nobunaga Shimazaki (as Nagi in Bluelock)
• Hajime Umeyama voiced by Yuichi Nakamura (plays Gojo in Jujutsu Kaisen)
• Toma Hiragi voiced by Ryota Suzuki (plays Ryusei in Dr. STONE)
• Akihiko Nirei voiced by Shoya Chiba (actor of Ayanokoji in Classroom of the Elite)

This upcoming anime is an adrenaline-filled adaptation of a popular manga set in high school students who are mischievous kids who want to become heroes who protect their city. A new Furin High student named Haruka Sakura is determined to fight his way to the top and become the strongest of them all. Haruka doesn't want to deal with the weak, he is only interested in the strongest among the strong. But Haruka is not interested in being a hero or being part of any team, he just wants to fight to reach the top and become the strongest.
