The MPL Indonesia Season 16 (MPL ID S16) competition is nearing the end of the Regular Season, with Week 8 seeing one surprise after another. Several teams have secured their place in the playoffs, and heated duels are once again on the cards. For example, the two current leaders of the MPL ID S16 standings, ONIC and Bigetron by Vitality, are once again battling it out in Week 8 of MPL ID S16.

Ahead of the ONIC vs. Bigetron by Vitality match, many assumed that ONIC's win streak would be broken. After dominating the past few weeks, no team has yet managed to break that streak. Several teams may have tried to break ONIC's win streak, but to no avail. They have only managed to steal points, not defeat them.

ONIC's winstreak finally broke in MPL ID Season 16 after they suffered a loss against Bigetron by Vitality on Saturday, October 11, 2025. The 2-0 defeat ended their winning streak. Although ONIC's winstreak broke in MPL ID Season 16, their position at the top of the standings remained unchanged until the end of Week 8.

Nnael and his teammates rocked the MPL ID Season 16 stage, and the race for the playoffs is getting fiercer. This season has been incredibly competitive, and Week 8 marked #BloodySunday in MPL ID Season 16 for all teams, even the dominant ones. Exclusively to Dunia Games (DG), ONIC's Gold Laner Skylar spoke about the result of the match against Bigetron.

"Perhaps (from) yesterday's defeat, I took it as a lesson. Even if we win a lot, it's not good, because we won't always be on top, we have to remember (the teams) below," said Skylar. However, Skylar added that he also learned from Bigetron by Vitality, especially regarding Fighter Gold, which he will study more in the future.

"Perhaps what I took away the most was seeing the good side of BTR (the way) they play Fighter Gold (and) I'll try to learn from that too," he concluded.
