An action actor from Indonesia, Yayan Ruhian, has once again shown his abilities on the Hollywood film scene. After his attention-grabbing roles in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and John Wick 3, now Yayan Ruhian has been trusted to star in the Hollywood film Boy Kills World.

In the film, Yayan, who is now 55 years old, plays a mysterious martial arts master. His role is very crucial, because he is the person who trains the main character, Boy, played by Bill Skarsgård.

Empire, a well-known media outlet, released a photo in which Yayan Ruhian looks serious about training Bill Skarsgård in the middle of the forest. Directed by Moritz Mohr from Germany, Boy Kills World is expected to present extraordinary action, especially with the presence of Sam Raimi as producer. Sam Raimi, known for the film Evil Dead Rise, certainly promises unforgettable action.

The story of Boy Kills World focuses on Boy, a character played by Skarsgård, a deaf and speech-impaired young man with an extraordinary imagination. After a murder tragedy that claimed his entire family, Boy managed to escape into the forest. There, he meets a mysterious martial arts master, played by Yayan Ruhian. The master then trains Boy, turning him into a figure who is ready to take revenge for the death of his family.

However, on his journey to revenge, Boy is not alone. He will be accompanied by several interesting characters, including June 27, played by Jessica Rothe, and Benny, played by Isaiah Mustafa. In the midst of a world full of violence and betrayal, Boy, with the help of his mentor, is determined to bring justice to the people who took the lives of his family. This story invites the audience to explore the emotions of redemption, perseverance, and discipline.

Yayan Ruhian's role as a mentor is of course very central. He is the figure who 'awakens' Boy's spirit, guiding him in seeking revenge.

Although Boy Kills World has not yet announced an official release date, the film was previously screened at the Toronto International Film Festival. At this festival, Yayan Ruhian's presence as part of this film was a successful highlight. We certainly hope that this film will get a positive response from audiences around the world.
