Recently, Genshin Impact announced two new characters who will be coming in the next update on its social media, one of them is Yelan – a waifuable Hydro character.

Yelan is a versatile, Bow-wielding Hydro character, who also has a mysterious personality, claiming to work for the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

Just like a phantom, Yelan often appears at the center of events in different disguises, only to disappear without leaving a trace before the storm stops.

Those in trouble look forward to meeting her. For a certain reason, most of them think Yelan will help them. And if not, they want Yelan to be their ally.

Yet the problem is, their opponents also believe in the same idea.

They have met different versions of “Yelan” who goes by different names and identities. And each of them thinks that they can strike a deal with her. However, none of them manage to reach a deal.

Who does she want to help? When will she reveal the truth?

Once she acts and intervenes, not a single word of honesty will come out of her.

When she reveals her true identity and speaks the truth, those who are eager for the answers may not have the chance to hear them.

Abilities

According to leaks, Yelan is a character who can trigger Hydro reactions while being outside of the field – making her a possible Sub-DPS or Support. Yelan lacks powerful damage to become a Main DPS.

Yelan also needs additional HP to enhance her skills. Thus, you’ll need to focus on getting artifacts with the HP sub-stats to get the best out of her.

Yelan is also expected to become a 5-Star character, who will be released alongside a new 4-Star character, Kuki Shinobu. It’s highly likely that Yelan will be available in Genshin Impact v2.7 — along with the Arataki Itto and Yoimiya re-runs, according to some reports.
