One of the characters that stands out in Black Widow is Yelena Belova, who is expected to replace Black Widow. But not long ago Marvel Studios has officially announced the Hawkeye series that is being worked on. Of course, the big question will be what is Yelena’s next action. Responding to this, Hawkeye director, Rys Thomas revealed Yelena Belova will appear in the upcoming Disney+ series, Hawkeye.

Later in the series, it is known that Clint will face Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), the sister of Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson). In Black Widow's post-credits scene, Belova looks for someone to blame for her sister's death, and she refers to Clint.

Carefully, director Rhys ensures Pugh will be present in Hawkeye. In an interview with GamesRadar+, Rhys was asked about the extent of Yelena's role in Hawkeye and whether she would fight it out with Clint. However, Rhys did not reveal too much.

"I can't speak to that. But yes, we know their past, and obviously what happened in Endgame. We know in these first two episodes that Clint's dealing with the fallout of that. But in terms of how they meet, I can't – I'll just pretend I don't know. Imagine it's a happy meeting, where they talk over coffee and work things out." Rhys replied.

Although Thomas didn't go into specifics, fans can assume that Clint and Yelena's first meeting on Hawkeye will be worth the wait.

Yelena's background is the same as Natasha's, she is also one of the Red Room graduates who studied the exact same knowledge as her senior Natasha. After Natasha graduated and got the title of Black Widow, Yelena still had many lessons in the Red Room, Yelena even surpassed Natasha's abilities from various sides, thus becoming much stronger than Natasha.
