The Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2025 (WCS 2025) has finally been officially announced! This prestigious annual tournament will be held in Paris, France from August 29 to 31, 2025, bringing together the best Duelists from around the world in three categories: Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game (TCG), Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL, and Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS.

WCS 2025 Tournament Format

This year’s tournament is divided into three main categories:

1. Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG – Duelists compete using physical cards from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game.

2. Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL – Digital matches played on console and PC, featuring 4K visuals and over 10,000 playable cards.

3. Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS – Further split into two formats: SPEED DUEL and RUSH DUEL, now an integral part of the WCS ecosystem.

Winners from each region will get the chance to compete live in Paris and make their mark in the history of the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship.
