In the previous article, we talked about some interesting stories behind several weapons in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG).

Of course just one article is not enough to discuss about all of the weapons exist in PUBG. For that reason, this article is the second volume about the weapons in PUBG that exist in real world.

M249

Just like some of the weapons discussed in the previous article, long before PUBG was created, the M249 has been popular since a long time ago, especially in the Call of Duty series. With exceptional shooting speed and a large amount of ammunition, this weapon become the gamers’ favorite weapon.

Its official name is M249 Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW), this weapon was produced since the 80s. This weapon was manufactured by the Belgian FN Herstal gun company. The same company that manufactured the popular SCAR-L gun in PUBG/.

In real world, M249 can be combined with 15x long range binoculars. Unfortunately, this cannot be done in PUBG. Imagine how deadly this weapon is in PUBG if it can be combined with the 15x scope.

MK14 EBR

MK 14 Enhanced Battle Rifle (EBR) is a weapon used by the United States Special Forces units such as; Navy Seal, Delta Force and other units. Since 2002, this weapon is used by the US army in the wars in Middle East.

This weapon is categorized as DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle) or the weapon designed for the snipers. If this weapon was compared to the other weapons in its class, MK14 has a great damage.

In PUBG, this weapon can only be obtained from the loot box. To increase MK14 stability, make sure you use it in the prone position.

Vector

The weapon which has the original name KRISS Vector is one of the most modern weapons in the PUBG game. This weapon was manufactured since 2007, this weapon is known as a reliable assault weapon because it’s a lightweight weapon.

Manufactured in the United States, Vector is categorized into the machine gun class. Like the other machine guns, Vector has a high shooting speed, unfortunately its speed is not matched by a good range of shooting.

In the PUBG game, despite having many attachment slots, Vector is considered to have too little ammo. This makes this weapon less popular than UMP9.

M416

Maybe this news will be a little disappointing many loyal users of M416 in PUBG, but M416 is one of the few weapons in PUBG that does not exist in the real world.

Even so, many people think that M416 is adapted from the M4 Carbine. It is not clear what the number "16" means in M416.

M4 Carbine itself is a weapon manufactured by the Heckler & Koch company and used by the United States military. This weapon is very flexible because of its ability to be combined with the M320 grenade launcher.

In PUBG, this weapon is very popular. Its ability to shoot in full-auto mode makes it beat M16A4 in short-range combat.

DP-28

The name DP-28 in PUBG has a little difference from the real world version. Having a long name Degtyaryov Machine Gun, this weapon is better known as the DP-27 in the real world.

Founded in 1928, this weapon was used by the Soviet Union army. During World War II, this weapon was often modified by the Soviet Union soldiers to be mounted on their warplanes or even tanks.

In PUBG, this weapon competes with M416 to be the most popular weapon. In prone position, the stability of this weapon increases dramatically.
