Zhuxin was first introduced on June 19, 2024, during a special event titled the “Burning Lights Festival,” through a video called “Fluttering Wishes” on the official Mobile Legends YouTube channel.

Outside of the Land of Dawn, a unique story has been circulating on TikTok. A creator named Gwen (also known as Uen) claims that people often liken her to Zhuxin. Gwen, who frequently collaborates with creator Yohan Sture, mentioned that many have connected her appearance and style with this mage hero.

In a TikTok video, Gwen stated, "People keep saying I look like Zhuxin, even though Mobile Legends created Zhuxin because of me." This comment sparked speculation that Moonton might have been inspired by Gwen when creating Zhuxin.

Gwen has expressed some frustration over constantly being called "Zhuxin" by her fans. In one humorous incident, Gwen was seen throwing a sandal at someone who called her by the hero’s name, but the sandal missed its mark and accidentally hit Yohan Sture, who happened to be passing by.

Moonton, the developer of MLBB, has not yet provided any official clarification on this issue, allowing speculation to continue among Mobile Legends players and fans.
