Garena officially announced that the world's highest-scale Free Fire tournament, the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Global Finals 2024 will be held in Brazil in November.
With this decision, Brazil will host the world's highest Free Fire competition for the second time.
In 2019, the first edition of the FFWS Global Finals was also held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The 2024 FFWS Global Finals in Brazil will increase the enthusiasm of the Magic Squad team with the status of defending champions after winning at the 2023 FFWS Global Finals Bangkok.
In front of its supporters, the Magic Squad will look to defend its title amidst the onslaught of the world's 17 best Free Fire teams, including those from Southeast Asia and Latin America.

In addition to announcing Brazil as the host of the 2024 FFWS Global Finals, Free Fire also announced that there will be one additional global tournament on the Free Fire 2024 esports calendar. This global tournament will be presented in July 2024.
This global tournament will be attended by 18 of the best Free Fire teams from around the world, including the best teams from the FFWS SEA 2024 Spring tournament, FFWS Brazil, FFWS Latam (Latin America), the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, and Pakistan. The winner of this mid-year global tournament will earn a ticket to the 2024 FFWS Global Finals in Brazil.
