Microsoft Will Remove All Reference to Minecraft Creator, Why?

Through the next update, Microsoft wants to remove all reference to Minecraft creator “Notch” and will be replaced with other words. Why is that?

In the future update, Microsoft will made Minecraft to remove all reference to its creator, Markus “Notch” Persson. Previously, the sentence “Made by Notch” or “The Work of Notch” would appeared when you started the game.Those sentences will be replaced with random message in the future.

But, it doesn’t mean that “Notch” will be completely removed by Microsoft, it will still appear on the credits which is usually appeared at the end of the game. Microsoft stated that Minecraft didn’t want to associate with the former creator anymore. Microsoft’s action are arguably legitimate, because Minecraft has been bought by Microsoft on 2014 at the price of Rp36,000,000,000,000.

Minecraft is a sandbox video games that invites the players to think creatively. You can build many things in this game, including building unique constructions and tools to take an adventure in Minecraft world. This game now has a very large number of monthly active players, which is 91,000,000 players.
