The close relationship between mobile games and anime has always created high expectations among fans. When an anime is successful, it is common for games based on the anime to immediately follow suit. Vice versa, when mobile games are tempting, the anime could follow the trend.

2024 will be the moment that mobile gamers have been waiting for with many new titles that will be released. Some of them are long-awaited adaptations of popular anime. Here are 10 anime-style games in 2024 that must be on your waiting list:

1. Bleach Soul Resonance

The success of the manga/anime Bleach became a source of inspiration for the mobile game entitled Bleach Soul Resonance, the work of Nuverse and Black Moon Studio. This 3D sword type action game will bring together iconic characters from Bleach such as Ichigo, Chad, Ishida, Orihime, and many others. The story in Bleach Soul Resonance will follow the development of the manga/anime, starting from Ichigo's first acquisition of power to Kuchiki Rukia's rescue in Soul Society. Bleach Soul Resonance is scheduled for release in 2024.

2. Solo Leveling: ARISE

The enthusiasm for the Solo Leveling anime will now spread to the gaming world. Netmarble has worked on the mobile game Solo Leveling: ARISE which is expected to be released in spring 2024. With the Hack'n Slash genre, ARISE presents an experience similar to Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat, with a focus on action and exploration. Players can choose characters such as Sung Jinwoo (Rank S), Cha Hae-In, Baek Yoonho, Lee Joohee, and others.

Apart from mobile devices, Solo Leveling: ARISE will also be available on PC.

3. One Punch Man World

Although not the first, One Punch Man World will be a mobile game with a different twist. Developed by T3 Studio, Crunchyroll Games, and A Plus Japan, this game offers awesome 3D action. Players can choose their favorite characters from the One Punch Man anime, including Genos, Saitama, Mumen Rider, and Sonic. This game also offers a raid mode that allows players to team up to face powerful monsters.

One Punch Man World is planned for release on January 31, 2024, although for some regions including Indonesia, it may take longer to enjoy the game.

Apart from mobile devices, One Punch Man World will also be available on PC.

4. Arknights: Endfield

Even though the release date is uncertain, many fans are hoping that Arknights: Endfield will arrive sometime this year. This mobile game developed by Hypergyph is a spin-off from Arknights with an RPG genre and stunning 3D graphics. Although designed for mobile devices, Arknights: Endfield will also be available on consoles and PC. The testing phase for the PC version was recently carried out.

5. Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat

The popular game from Capcom, Devil May Cry, is now available in a mobile version entitled Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat. Developed by Nebulajoy, this game offers stylish hack'n slash gameplay. Characters like Nero, Dante, Vergil, and others can be played in this game. Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat was released on January 10 2024 for the Android and iOS platforms, unfortunately, it is not yet available in Indonesia.

6. Wuthering Waves

Kuro Games created Wuthering Waves, an action RPG game that features amazing graphics for mobile play. Plus, this game presents an open world that players can explore freely. With its quality, Wuthering Waves will be a serious competitor to Genshin Impact, which still dominates this genre. Despite undergoing several closed trials (CBT), an official release date for Wuthering Waves has not been announced. This game will be available for mobile devices and PC.

7. Zenless Zone Zero

From HoYoverse, their newest game, entitled Zenless Zone Zero, has been long awaited. However, the exact release date is still a secret. HoYoverse only promises that this game will be released in 2024. Unlike Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero does not offer an open world, but instead focuses on a dungeon crawler with players choosing their characters to complete missions in the dungeon. Each character has a unique design and play style.

Zenless Zone Zero will be available not only for mobile devices but also for PC platforms.

8. The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin

Developed by Netmarble, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is the sequel to The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross. This game uses Unreal Engine 5 technology which will provide stunning graphic quality. The world in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin will be an open world that combines action and adventure.

The main character in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is Tristan, the son of Meliodas and Elizabeth, who together with his friends tries to save Britain from the disaster caused by the Star Fragment artifact. A release date has not been announced, and the game will be available for mobile devices, consoles, and PC.

9. Unending Dawn

The Soulslike type game has arrived in a mobile version with Unending Dawn. This game was developed by Parcaes Fate Studio and combines Soulslike-style hardcore gameplay with a Gacha system. By using Unreal Engine 5, this game presents extraordinary graphics. Unfortunately, Unending Dawn doesn't have an official release date yet, but it will be available on mobile and PC when the time comes.

10. Project Mugen

NetEase made a splash at Gamescom last year with the announcement of Project Mugen. The advantage of this game is the character's ability to web-sling like Spider-Man in an open world full of tall buildings. The interesting gameplay shows action with a variety of anime-style characters who have unique abilities.

Project Mugen still doesn't have a definite release date. This game will be available on mobile devices, consoles, and PC.
