After more than two decades, Final Fantasy VII is getting a re-release in the form of a remake. In this game, FFVII fans can return to Midgar where players can also find new faces and new enemies. In this article, Dunia Games wants to talk about the most difficult bosses to beat in Final Fantasy VII Remake. Take a look at the discussion below!
1. Hell House
Wanting to audition for Don Corneo's fiancé, Cloud and Aerith try to get enough Gil by taking part in a match at the Colosseum. After successfully winning the match, Madam M tells that the greedy Don still wants to give one more fight to prove their worth.
As soon as Cloud and Aerith reenter the arena, they are greeted by a house. Cloud immediately realizes that it is no ordinary house, but Hell House. This house can attack with various elements and launch multiple projectile attacks while in mid-air.
2. Tonberry
Like Cactuar and Marlboro, Tonberry is also a monster that appears in various Final Fantasy games. In FFVII Remake, Tonberry appears as an optional boss that you face in chapter 14 and can also be found in Shinra Combat Simulator.
Tonberry's physique is indeed small and only carries a lantern and a small knife, but he is able to finish off an entire party of players with just one stab. So don't let your guard down when fighting against him.
3. Eligor
You will hear information about a horseman myth from Marlene when you talk to Tifa. Marlene explained about the Black Wind roaming the Sector 7 Train Graveyard which was only considered a rumor by most people. Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith then arrive at the place after escaping from the sewer.
Then, they meet Eligor and initiate the fight. Unlike the previous boss, Eligor is much more difficult to deal with.
4. Scorpion Sentinel
One of the things that caught the attention of Final Fantasy VII Remake fans was the trailer showing the battle between Cloud and Barret against the Scorpion Sentinel in Mako Reactor 1. The Scorpion Sentinel itself is a giant scorpion robot equipped with a Mark 99 Launcher and a tail capable of shooting lasers.

5. Weiss The Immaculate
Weiss The Immaculate is an optional boss that can be found in Shinra Combat Simulator when replaying Chapter 17. Weiss The Immaculate is the boss that first appeared in Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII. You can challenge him again in FFVII Remake. But remember, this is not an easy fight so it takes proper preparation to defeat him.
6. Rufus Shinra
Rufus is also one of the most difficult bosses that Cloud and his friends will face later. Rufus fights using a shotgun, accompanied by his demon-looking dog, Darkstar.
Rufus enters the Shinra building and meets Cloud and his friends who have just been freed from Professor Hojo's machine. Players who are not familiar with Rufus' fighting mechanics are likely to be very enraged. Rufus' counter prevents Cloud from doing his combo.
7. Reno and Rude
These duo of Rufus' men are also quite difficult opponents for Cloud. Cloud meets the two after the Mako Reactor 5 bombing. Reno is very difficult to attack, while Rude will deal with painful attacks. It takes agility to be able to win against them.
8. Bahamut
Like in other Final Fantasy series, Bahamut is one of the strongest summons that can be used to fight. In FFVII Remake, players must be able to defeat it first before he's powered up. Bahamut can be found in the combat simulator engine provided by Chadley.
The dragon who has the nickname "The Dragon King" can finish off all party members with his powerful Megaflare. Better prepare yourself first before fighting him.
9. Nero
In the Intergrade expansion, you can meet Nero as a boss. You will fight as Yuffie who is the main protagonist in Final Fantasy VII Remake: Intergrade. No ninja in Wutai can match Nero besides Yuffie. The fight against him will probably be the most difficult in the Intergrade expansion.
10. Sephiroth
It is certain that Sephiroth is the hardest boss you will encounter in FFVII Remake. Not only in FFVII, but Sephiroth is also a terrible opponent in Kingdom Hearts and in Super Smash Bros.
In FFVII Remake, Sephiroth has an attack that cannot be parried, namely Aeolian Onslaught. Not to mention the Heartless Angel that can kill everyone in an instant. Towards the end of the fight, Sephiroth will unleash his deadliest attack, Meteor.
