1. Two Weeks (2019)

Two Weeks was inspired by a Korean Drama of the same title. In this drama series, Haruma Miura plays Yuki Daichi, a man who doesn’t realize that he has a daughter. One day, he finds out that his daughter has leukemia and desperately needs a bone marrow transplant surgery. It’s only Yuki who can save her life since his blood test matches that of his daughter. While in most of his movies, Haruma Miura plays as the protagonist, in Gintama 2 he plays as the antagonist. Miura plays Kamotarou Itou, a member of the Shinsengumi who later on in the story betrays his faction. As the antagonist, Miura’s role is far from being outshined by the other actors.

Sakura often gets jealous of seeing other people fall in love, yet she has some traumas in falling in love. This drama shows Saeki’s funny efforts in winning Sakura’s heart.

6. Kimi no Todoke (2010)

This film tells a story of a high school student, Kuronuma Sawako (Mikako Tabe), who gets bullied and likened to Sadako (Japanese traditional myth). Due to her quiet and shy nature, plus her long hair, people are increasingly wary of Sawako. Many assume that she’s the real Sadako.

In this drama series, Haruma Miura plays Kotaro Mochizuki, a shy, mild-mannered student. One day, he discovers an ancient book that grants him a unique power. From then on, whenever Kotaro gets in a bad situation, he transforms into a samurai.

8. Five Minutes to Tomorrow (2014)

The movie is set in two countries, Japan and China. Haruma Miura plays a lonely man, Ryo, who meets the twins from China, Ruo Lan, and Ru Mei.
