1. Originated from Meteor City

Chrollo’s past is pretty much unknown. But, it’s been known that he originated from Meteor City, a junkyard city inhabited by outcasts.

Some time ago, Chrollo formed a troupe named Genei Ryodan along with six other Meteor City residents. Ever since then, he’s been involved in many raids and massacres.

2. Founded the Genei Ryodan with No Particular Goal

However, the technique that he relies on the most is Hatsu given that he’s such an expert at this technique. He’s been able to steal numerous abilities regardless of the type of the Nen.

4. He Can Steal Others’ Abilities

One of the most unique abilities that Chrollo possesses is his ability to steal others’ abilities using his Bandit’s Secret. Chrollo can steal others’ Nen abilities and use them using a book named Bandit’s Secret. Once it’s stolen from them, the victims will no longer be able to use their abilities.

However, there are several prerequisites that have to be met for Chrollo to steal abilities:

  1. Chrollo needs to see the Nen ability with his own eyes;
  2. He has to ask about the Nen, and the user has to answer him;
  3. The victim has to put their palms on the cover of the Bandit’s Secret;
  4. All of these have to be done in under an hour.

To use the abilities that he’s stolen, Chrollo needs to access the Bandit’s Secret and open the page about the abilities. The book then has to remain open in his right hand, allowing him to only use one ability.

5. Once Killed a Person Using a Pen
