1. Orphan Since Childhood
Cloud Strife is best friend with Tifa Lockhart since childhood and they both live in Nibelheim. Cloud’s dad died when he was young and he was raised by his mother Claudia. Square Enix never reveal who is Cloud’s father. But many believe that Cloud’s father is President Shinra, even fans are still debating about it.
2. Sephiroth’s Clone
Cloud Strife is the one successful cloning attempt done by Hojo in Nibelheim to create the second Sephiroth. Although the only thing cloned is the power by injecting Jenova cell and exposing them to mako. Ironically, Hojo marked the attempt on Cloud as a failure and doesn’t even bother to give him a tattoo.
3. Identity Crisis
New players that played Final Fantasy VII Remake must be confused with Cloud acts like a person with amnesia. It’s because out of all FInal Fantasy protagonists, Cloud Strife is the character with no identity. It’s caused by Cloud’s bad memory and psychological condition.

7. A Boss Character
Besides becoming a protagonist, Cloud Strife was made into a boss character in the training mode of Before Crisis - Final Fantasy 7 mobile game. This mobile game developed by Square Enix was released last 2004 and only available in Japan.
8. Cloud’s Voice Actors
The main character of Final Fantasy VII is quiet and cold. Cloud has two voice actors. The English version is Cody Christian (Teen Wolf). And the Japanese voice actor is Sakurai Takahiro, that also takes part in Psycho-Pass. Previously Cloud’s voice actor is filled by Steve Burton.
9. Appears in Other Games
