Warner Bros finally revealed the trailer for the new Mortal Mortal Kombat live-action film. The film is a reboot of the Mortal Kombat film that was released in 1995. Since it’s a reboot, the film presents a new cast. In the cast of the new Mortal Kombat film, you will see the name Joe Taslim who will play Sub-Zero. A fighter that manipulates ice and he will face a Japanese actor, Hiroyuki Sanada who will play Scorpion.

1. The History Behind Scorpion’s Real Name
Scorpion’s real name is Hanzo Hasashi, but it’s not a name randomly picked by Ed Boon. the name was inspired by a famous ninja named Hattori Hanzo. He served Tokugawa Ieyasu as a samurai. He was nicknamed Oni no Hanzo because of his fearlessness on the battlefield.
2. Change of Scorpion’s Kunai
Scorpion is known for his kunai that can be launched like a harpoon. The kunai is deadly because not only it can pierce his enemy, but it can pull them in Scorpion’s direction and beat them to death. In some of the series, the kunai of Scorpion was altered. In the first Mortal Kombat game, Scorpion’s kunai was tied to a rope. In the modern Mortal Kombat game, Scorpion’s kunai was connected to a chain.
In some instances, Scorpion’s weapon was not a kunai. In the original Mortal Kombat film, Scorpion’s weapon is not a kunai but a snake that can be launched from his arm.
