1. Starts His WWE Career as Reginald DuPont Helmsley

On Chris Jericho's podcast, Triple H revealed that the name WWE gave him when he joined the company was Reginald DuPont Helmsley. Vince McMahon liked the HHH’s French aristocratic gimmick during his WCW (World Championship Wrestling) career, but Vince wanted the gimmick to be changed to a French-American.

That results in the persona Reginald DuPont Helmsley. Then he desired a better name and not some useless name so, his stage name was changed to Hunter Hearst Helmsley or HHH. If his name never changed, he would never become Triple H.

2  Kevin Owens Got His WWE Shot Thanks to HHH

Kevin Owens has become one of WWE's ever-rising pro wrestler stars. It happened because Triple H gave him a chance. Owens has stated in an interview that following his trial at WWE, there was a voting process to decide whether he would be hired. It turned out that HHH said “yes” as the deciding vote.

Seeing something special in an unconventional wrestler like Owens, Triple H not only hired him but instantly pushed him on the NXT and on the main roster. Taking a chance on Owens showing HHH's visionary side for the future, using whoever he thinks can make money for WWE.

5. Hates Bill Goldberg

While the two were in different wrestling companies i, Triple H didn't like what Bill Goldberg described as wrestlers. Goldberg entered the wrestling industry by luck, was given the top spot quickly and was named the greatest wrestler in WCW despite his reckless work.

HHH starkly cornered Goldberg for the first time when talking to a wrestler training at WWE Tough Enough. Years later, the two would battle each other in WWE with HHH earning their first win over Goldberg in the WWE ring. Goldberg believes the match was not entirely fair due to HHH's strong influence within the WWE company.

6. He Also Hates The Rock

One of the best rivalries in the Attitude Era which is also the greatest backstage rivalry is Triple H and The Rock who hate each other. Bret Hart revealed in his book that Shawn Michaels and HHH would try to "bury" The Rock early in his WWE career. The plan happened because they saw The Rock as a threat because of his potential.

After The Rock became a successful movie star, HHH claimed that he was also offered a similar job but instead turned it down because HHH prefers wrestling.

7. Founded D Generation X with Shawn Michaels

As a member of the powerful Kliq faction with Shawn Michaels, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, Triple H immediately became a controversial figure in the wrestling world when he joined WWE. The reason for that was that he was friends with the top stars at the time. On Scott Hall and Kevin Nash's final night with WWE, before they joined WCW, the four men embraced in the ring.

Prior to dating Stephanie McMahon, Triple H was involved in a romantic relationship with Chyna. Then upon entering the scenario storyline as Stephanie's husband to feud with Vince McMahon, HHH and Stephanie actually fall in love in real life at the same time. Chyna claims she found out by finding Stephanie's love letter to HHH. Chyna, who felt cheated, immediately confronted Vince about it.

Shortly after that incident, Chyna got kicked out by WWE and all their futures changed forever. HHH and Stephanie became the most powerful couple in the wrestling industry and Chyna became one of the saddest wrestling stories.

9. The Undertaker Supports Triple H Dating Stephanie

When Triple H started dating Stephanie McMahon, many wrestlers started to hate her because it meant that HHH's position in WWE would be stronger than other wrestlers. With pressure mounting, HHH sought advice from The Undertaker.

Known as the leader of WWE wrestlers, Undertaker will not remain silent if any wrestler dares to oppose HHH over this. HHH claims The Undertaker showed support and gave him professional permission to continue dating the daughter of the WWE owner. 10. He Wanted John Cena Out

The top star in WWE and one of the greatest legends of all time named John Cena struggled early in his WWE career, and Triple H is one of Cena’s doubters. Cena has admitted that in his first year at the WWE company as a wrestler with a cute-faced gimmick, HHH was one of the many people who wanted Cena fired for finding Cena's performances unimpressive.
