Dr. Stone is an anime with a unique story concept that is different from other anime, because it has a scientific theme to restore a lost civilization. Dr Stone anime, which was adapted from a manga by Boichi with Riichirou Inagaki, tells the story of a cataclysmic disaster that turned all living creatures on earth into stone. Thousands of years after the disaster, a scientist named Senku who has been petrified is suddenly able to come back to life as a human.
Realizing that human civilization has been lost for thousands of years, Senku wants to restore today's technology through various scientific experiments on the earth that return to the prehistoric age. 1. Senku Ishigami
Senku Ishigami is the main protagonist of Dr. Stone, and befriends Taiju Oki and Yuzuriha Ogawa. He is known for his favorite quote "Ten Billion Percent". Senku was de-petrified half a year before Taiju. Senku ends up creating Awakening Fluid with Taiju's help. In the Stone World, Senku wants to rebuild civilization and establish the Kingdom of Science.
As the first winner in the Grand Bout tournament, Senku eventually holds the title of village head in Ishigami Village, where he is widely regarded as a living legend thanks to the influence of the late Byakuya in the founding of Ishigami Village.
Senku is the de facto leader of the Kingdom of Science. Later, as a member of the Five Wise Commanders, Senku came up with the idea for their large-scale plan. He always consults with Chrome, Gen, Ukyo, and Ryusui before taking action in plans to restore his civilization.
2. Taiju Oki
Taiju Oki is one of the protagonists of the Dr Stone series. He was resurrected from his petrification by Senku on October 5, 5738 AD.
Together with Senku, he aspires to rebuild the lost human civilization by helping all those trapped in a strange phenomenon that occurred 3,700 years ago.
Under Senku's plot, he joins the Tsukasa Empire as a spy to help bring down Shishio Tsukasa's evil plans. After rejoining the Kingdom of Science, he was placed on the Royal Power Team. Taiju usually uses his extraordinary body strength to build things, farm, and collect various natural resources. He is the leader of the Agriculture Division.
3. Tsukasa Shishio
Tsukasa Shishio was once the main antagonist of Dr. Stone. He was the antagonist of the first arc. Tsukasa's original goal was to reduce the human population to create a new world without modern technology for young people with pure hearts.
Tsukasa becomes one of the biggest obstacles to the Kingdom of Science. Tsukasa always prevents Senku who wants to restore human civilization and resurrect all humans who have been petrified.
In order to fight and prevent Senku from building a scientifically advanced civilization, Tsukasa then creates his own Empire consisting of wealthy powerful people he raises to continue his plans.
After a stalemate, Tsukasa implements a temporary truce with Senku after promising to save his sister. Tsukasa reaffirms his promise to never again let Senku be threatened, they finally together defeat the traitor Hyoga.
After his life was saved by Senku by de-petrifying him from his cryogenic state, Tsukasa finally joins the Kingdom of Science and begins their journey to the United States.
4. Yuzuriha Ogawa
Yuzuriha Ogawa is the female protagonist in Dr. Stone who becomes one of Senku's best friends and also Taiju's love interest. Prior to petrification, she was a high school student and a member of the craft club. She was resurrected by Senku and Taiju from his petrification in AD 5739. Together with Taiju, they joined the Tsukasa Empire, where they eventually worked as spies for the Kingdom of Science.
In the Tsukasa Empire, Yuzuriha is tasked with making clothes for other members of the Empire, as well as carrying out secret missions assigned by Senku. The secret mission is to reassemble the adult statues that Tsukasa destroyed in the hopes that they can still be revived under these conditions. After Tsukasa's defeat, she finally rejoins the Kingdom of Science.
5. Kohaku
Kohaku is a young woman who is a descendant of the humans of the new civilization. She is Ruri's younger sister and Kokuyo's daughter. She is one of the female protagonists of Dr. Stone.
After meeting Senku and witnessing his bravery and talent, Kohaku invites Senku to her village. Since Senku helped and fascinated the whole village with his many scientific discoveries, and turned out to be the savior that the village's ancestors spoke of in the stories for generations, the people finally wanted to unite with Senku to fight and stop the Tsukasa Empire.
After Taiju, Kohaku is the most loyal person to Senku. Ever since she learned about the science needed to make modern discoveries, Kohaku often teamed up with Chrome to find scientific raw materials and persuaded Kinro and Ginro to help with the experiments.

6. Chrome
Chrome is a mage who is actually a scientist of Ishigami Village and becomes Senku's friend. At first he was Senku's rival, but Chrome became close to Senku because he was taught science from the old world civilization. He is one of the protagonists of Dr. Stone.
As a resource-obsessed person from a young age, Chrome has always been interested in experimenting with different raw materials. He made these experiments because he had little knowledge of mankind's achievements and scientific knowledge that had been lost for thousands of years.
As part of the Kingdom of Science, Chrome serves as Senku's right-hand man. It was this trust that made him one of the Five Wise Commanders. He was also the only human of the new civilization among the members of the Five Wise Commanders.
7. Suika
Suika is a descendant of the humans of a new civilization and also a resident of Ishigami Village. She is one of the main protagonists of the Dr. Stones.
After initially being ostracized by the villagers due to her clumsiness and always wearing a watermelon helmet due to her nearsightedness, she quickly becomes friends with Senku. It happened because Senku didn't immediately judge Suika by her appearance, and then Senku helped her regain vision through the glasses he built.
She later served as an investigator for the Kingdom of Science, due to her adept at gathering information clandestinely. In the New Stone World Arc, Suika has switched professions to become a scientist with Senku as her mentor.
8. Gen Asagiri
Gen Asagiri was an antagonist who turned into a friend to Senku. Initially, Gen was resurrected from his petrification by Tsukasa Shishio, and he was tasked with finding Senku's whereabouts.
Ironically, he's actually the type of person Tsukasa doesn't want to be revived, because Gen is a greedy man who only cares about his own desires. However, Tsukasa desperately needs Gen’s brilliant mind to help build his Empire. Gen later became a member of the Five Wise Commanders. As one of the members of the Five Wise Commanders, Gen was the one who could best strategize about how to carry out missions.
9. Ginro
Ginro is Kinro's younger brother, and is one of the guards of Ishigami Village. He became interested in Senku's science at the beginning of Senku's stay in the village. Ginro was one of the first residents of Ishigami Village to join the Kingdom of Science.
While adventuring on Treasure Island, Ginro manages to convince an unpetrified soldier to become his subordinate because of Ginro's resemblance to his late master.
10. Kinro
Kinro is Ginro's older brother and the son of Tetsuken and Shirogane. Initially Kinro served as one of the guards of Ishigami Village alongside Ginro, but he quickly joined Senku as a member of the Kingdom of Science. Eventually Kinro served as part of the Defense Division of the Royal Forces Team.
