Julian’s Pros and Cons in Mobile Legends That You Should Know
Here are some strengths and weaknesses of the recently released Mobile Legends hero, Julian. Learn more about the new Assassin in this article.
Mobile Legends | 29 May
Julian is the newest Assassin in Mobile Legends who is quite unique — all of his abilities share the same cooldown. Therefore, Julian offers numerous variations of playstyles.
This hero certainly comes with certain strengths and weaknesses that you should learn before you choose him as your main.
So, what are Julian’s strengths and weaknesses in Mobile Legends? Without further ado, let’s get into it!
Pros
Tremendous Damage
As an Assassin, Julian does nasty burst damage. He can finish off a target quickly — especially if he has all of his core items.
Short Cooldowns
Julian is a Mobile Legends hero who has shared cooldowns. Meaning that whichever skill that you use, his other skills will also go on a cooldown. However, Julian boasts brief cooldowns — which can be reduced further with cooldown reduction items.
High Mobility
As an Assassin, Julian can make blinks with his Skill 2, Sword. With this skill, Julian can zoom around the map, chasing down his targets or running away from them.
Excels in Duels
Julian is one of the few Assassins in Mobile Legends who are dominant in duels. Therefore, Julian plays well in the EXP Lane as he can gain control of the lane.
Gets Much Stronger in the Late Game Stage
When the late game arrives, Julian can easily become a monster who completely dominates the game as he can obliterate the entire opposing team with ease, thanks to his tremendous burst damage. Carries like Marksmen or Mages will find it difficult to deal with him in the late game.

Cons
Significantly Weaker in the Early Game
Although he can hit a power spike in the late game, Julian is significantly weaker in the early game — especially within the first three minutes of the game when he’s still low-level and hasn’t completed his core items. So, it’d be best to solely focus on farming during the early game.
Relies Heavily on Mana
Assassins who focus on skills like Julian tend to be very Mana-reliant. However, you can overcome this by taking the purple buffs or using mana restoration items like the Enchanted Talisman.
Low Defense
It’s understandable for an Assassin like Julian to have a sub-par defense. He’s very vulnerable to burst damage, especially against Mages.
Easy to Counter
There are lots of ways to counter Julian in Mobile Legends. One of them is by using certain heroes, such as Mages with high burst damage, or a Tank with solid CCs.
Hard to Master
Julian is another Mobile Legends hero that requires a high level of proficiency. Julian’s shared cooldowns require the player to choose which skill to cast first so that he won’t run out of mana or be stopped by the cooldown.
