Dragon Ball Super is a massively successful series that focuses on Goku and his friends’ journey. Dragon Ball Super also makes Broly a canon character, as well as introduces new Saiyans from other universes.

Some of these Saiyans are incredibly powerful, and can even match Goku’s powers. But, on this list, we won’t feature any of the Fusions as they are generally more powerful than individual Saiyans.

So, who are the strongest Saiyans in Dragon Ball Super? Without further ado, let’s get into it.

10. Cabba

Cabba is certainly the weakest Saiyan on this list. He often struggles in fights, and he almost has no muscle definition.

Even in his Super Saiyan form, he still looks rather fragile as his muscles barely expand in response to the transformation.

Cabba shows viewers that Universe 6 Saiyans are nothing near the level of Universe 7 Saiyans.

Even though Cabba managed to give a good fight against Vegeta in the Tournament of Power, he's still below average compared to other Saiyans.

9. Goten and Trunks

Goku and Vegeta's descendants are extremely powerful, and because of that, at the age of seven and eight respectively, Goten and Trunks are the youngest Saiyans to ever achieve the Super Saiyan transformation. Despite the age difference, Goten and Trunks are relatively equal.

Trunks tends to have the upper hand against Goten as he is slightly stronger and much smarter, but Goten will quickly close the gap as he matures and becomes stronger.

Despite being children, they are able to withstand fighters that are much older than them.

8. Gohan

Gohan has been a pretty tough character since his youth. Though, since giving up his training, he's falling behind his potential. During Dragon Ball Super, Gohan has to step away from fights to pursue his dream of becoming an academic.

There are a few moments where fans are reminded of Gohan's power, but they are few and far between.

7. Caulifla

Caulifla is one of the newer Saiyans introduced in the series, and she wastes no time showing everyone how powerful she really is.

Caulifla seems like a bully, and no one in Sadala seems to want to mess with her even though she's a kid, showing that she has great powers even without knowing about Super Saiyans.

However, after her frequent appearances, the audience starts to deem her as the younger female version of Goku as she only wants to fight and get stronger after learning about her transformation.

Caulifla even learned the Super Saiyan 2 form from Goku in the middle of a battle in just a minute or two.

6. Future Trunks

Coming from a completely different timeline, it's hard to compare Future Trunks to other Saiyans as the power ranks seem to differ between timelines.

However, Future Trunks has demonstrated his immense power on many occasions in the main timeline.

Once Trunks attained his Super Saiyan Rage form, he was finally able to end Zamasu. It's hard to tell whether Trunks continues to train, especially since he and Mai seem to have calmed down, but Future Trunks is one of the more powerful Saiyans in Dragon Ball Super.

5. Kale

Kale has subtly become the female version of Broly for her own universe. She has a very powerful form known as the Ikari form, which resembles Broly's green rage.

If Kale manages to control her rage, she will likely be at the top of the list. However, because she hardly uses it and has little to no control over it, she isn't that effective in battles.

Given that Universe 6 is a fan favorite, the next Dragon Ball Super might include a more controlled and much more powerful version of Kale.

4. Vegeta

Vegeta has come a long way since the beginning of Dragon Ball Z, not only character-wise but also power-wise. Before Goku learned the new and exciting Ultra Instinct technique, Vegeta was just as powerful, if not more powerful than Goku when he unlocked his SSB Evolved form before Kakarot perfected the UI.

Vegeta also surpassed Goku during several months of training alone with Whis before Goku found out where Vegeta was. There are many opportunities in Dragon Ball Super for Vegeta to shine as a true hero. Maybe he'll finally get his chance in the next arc.

3. Goku

Despite being the main character, Goku is not the strongest Saiyan out there. As a matter of fact, there are several other mortals that are stronger than him. However, Goku is an absolute monster and should be feared by anyone he doesn't consider an ally.

Like Vegeta, Goku has learned several new techniques in the manga and will continue to get stronger as the story progresses. Goku's trajectory seems to be leading him in a direction where he can learn to utilize Ultra Instinct in his basic form. By achieving this, he could easily become the strongest Saiyan, and maybe even the strongest human in the multiverse.

2. Broly

Once he's officially made canon, Broly has certainly established himself as one of the strongest Saiyans out there. He completely annihilated Goku and Vegeta before they finally managed to finish the fusion dance. Had the two never fused properly, it's highly likely that Broly would have come out victorious.

Since their fight with Broly, fans have seen Goku and Vegeta reach a whole new level of power.

Although Broly hasn't made an appearance in the anime, fans know he's not just chilling with Cheelai. Assuming Broly has learned to control and improve his Ikari form, he could definitely become the next star of the franchise.

1. Goku Black

Although Goku Black is not necessarily a true Saiyan, he is physiologically a Saiyan for all his intents and purposes. However, given that his spirit or soul is of a god, his power is much higher than any normal Saiyan.

After only a few minutes of fighting Goku, Goku Black learns how to surpass Super Saiyan. After a few more fights, Goku Black reaches the awesome Super Saiyan Rose level, which many fans believe to be a more powerful and completely refined version of the Super Saiyan Blue.
