But not only that, but the writer also would like to give a recommendation on select anime soundtracks for you who love Japanese songs. Take a look at the list below!
1. Kenshi Yonezu - Peace Sign
Peace Sign is the second opening theme of Boku no Hero Academia season 2 which performed by Kenshi Yonezu. This J-Pop song has some nice tunes to listen to while being on a bus or train. Certainly, many fans of Boku no Hero Academia are already familiar with this one. Peace Sign is also one of the most frequently played songs by bands in Japanese events.
2. Brian the Sun - Lonely Go
Lonely Go is the fourth opening song of the Boruto series performed by Brian the Sun. So far, Lonely Go is the best opening song of the series after Baton Road (first opening song) performed by Kana Boon. This song suits really well as the opening for a Shonen anime like Boruto will make you listen to it on a loop.
3. V6 - Super Power
Super Power is the 21st opening of the One Piece anime performed by the acclaimed Japanese idol group, V6. Their songs have their own characteristics that make you feel like singing along on their certain parts. The 20th opening, Hope, by Namie Amuro is quite similar to Super Power as they both are easy-listening.
In the opening sequence that goes with this song, shows the Straw Hats escaping from the Whole Cake Island, unfortunately, they have to deal with Big Mom and her crew. The sequence also shows the deadly duel between Luffy and Charlotte Katakuri, Big Mom’s strongest child who has a god-level Haki.
4. Miyuna - Gamushara
Gamushara is the fifth opening song of the Black Clover anime performed by Miyana. It’s just as cool as the first opening, Haruka Mirai by Kankaku Piero, as it is quite an earworm.
5. LiSA - Adamas
The first opening song of the anime, Sword Art Online: Alicitazion is written and sung by LiSA. Surely SAO fans are already familiar with the song and the beautiful voice of the artist who has made several songs for numerous anime series.
6. UNISON SQUARE GARDEN - Haru ga Kite Bokura
Haru ga Kite Bokura is the fourth opening song of 3-gatsu no Lion 2 performed by the band, UNISON SQUARE GARDEN. This song provides a soothing effect on those who are listening. It suits well as a soundtrack of the anime.
7. FLOW feat. Granrodeo - Howling
Nanatsu Taizai Imashite no Fukkatsu also boasts a fine opening song that is quite pleasant to listen to, Howling. The song is performed by the band who made tonnes of songs for various anime, FLOW, in collaboration with Granrodeo.
8. SPYAIR - I wanna be
A whimsical anime like Gintama turns out to be having a nice opening song too, I wanna be, by SPYAIR. Previously, Spyair also had an easy-listening song as another soundtrack for Gintama, titled Sakura Mitsutsuki.
9. Luck Life - Naru
Tsurune: Kazemai Koukou Kyuudoubu is an anime about the art of archery with a really nice opening song. The said earworm is Naru, which performed by Luck Life.
10. Hiroshi Kitadani - Over The Top
Last but not least, it’s the 22nd opening song of One Piece, in the current Wano arc, to be more exact. Hiroshi Kitadani has always brought us many of epic songs, such as We Are, We Go, dan We Can. Many fans argue that Over The Top is one of the best opening songs of One Piece.
