This armor is great if you prefer the ranged gameplay. Upgrading the Tadayori’s Armor increases the duration of Concentration and slows down the time so you can accurately aim at your targets.

6. Gosaku's Armor

Gosaku's Armor is obtained after completing the Mythic quest “The Unbreakable Gosaku.” Getting this requires more effort since you have to complete several other missions. The advantages of this armor are increases the user’s health bar, increase stagger chance, increases Resolve upon killing an enemy inflicted with stagger.

This is the best armor for playing full frontal but still wants to easily kill your opponents. Additionally, this armor restores Resolve faster than any other armor available so you don’t have to worry about losing HP. Gosaku’s Armor looks cooler than other armors available in the game.

7. Kensei Armor

Kensei armor is unlocked after completing the Mythic quest “The Six Blades of Kojiro.” At a glance, Kensei armor is almost identical to ROnin Attire. Kensei armor grants the user damage increase for melee battle. The armor also increases the damage dealt with Ghost weapons. Using the armor also restores more Resolve so you don’t have to worry about running out of Resolve when you can’t find Bamboo Strike.

This armor is made for players who love the stealth gameplay with the Ghost weapons such as kunai and sticky bombs. Since it restores Resolve faster, the armor is great for facing bosses because you can keep on using deadly attacks that consume Resolve.

8. Sakai Clan Armor

Sakai Clan armor is obtained when you start doing the “Ghost from the Past” quest. The armor was once owned by Jin Sakai’s father and also the greatest armor available. The perks of this armor are increased melee damage, increases health, and increases the number of opponents you can kill in a Standoff, and winning a Standoff has a chance to Terrify your opponents. 

Sakai Clan armor is an all-around armor in Ghost of Tsushima. It’s a great armor if you are not scared of facing multiple enemies at once. Equipping this armor with an upgraded Standoff will allow you to take down five enemies at once.

9. Ghost Armor

You will have to play in a stealth mode in Ghost of Tsushima, that’s why you will use this Ghost armor. You will unlock the armor when you get into the “From the Darkness” quest. As the name suggests the armor is great for players who love playing using the stealth mode. The perks include reducing enemy detection speed, reduces the number of kills needed to use the Ghost Stance, and increases the chance to inflict to Terrify nearby enemies after a kill.

10. Mongol Commander's Armor

The perks of this armor are increased health, reduces all damage, and disguises you when you are out of combat and also reduces the detection of the Mongolian soldier.

11. Fundoshi

The last armor on this list is Fundoshi, a “gimmick” armor made by Sucker Punch. You will unlock this naked armor once you found all Hot Springs location in Ghost of Tsushima.
