Recently, Japanese police have arrested two foreign nationals for allegedly posting manga images from Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine online before its scheduled publication. One of the suspects is a 36 year old man who claims to be Samir Musa. He is reported to be the owner of a company called Japan Deal World in Kita District, Tokyo, Japan.

According to authorities, the two suspects allegedly posted images from the popular manga Weekly Shonen Jump without permission in March 2023, before the magazine was officially released. They were also accused of violating Japan's Copyright Law by photographing and copying images from last month's magazine using mobile phones.

The investigation found that the suspects purchased the magazine before its official release date at a bookstore in Tokyo in order to carry out the act of spreading this early leak. Police suspect that there are other people involved in this illegal activity and are conducting further investigations.

Previously, in 2017, Japanese police also arrested three people on suspicion of uploading the One Piece manga by Eiichiro Oda from Weekly Shonen Jump.

This incident shows the importance of respecting copyright and adhering to the rules in the world of manga publication. Weekly Shonen Jump is one of the most popular manga magazines in Japan and has a tight release schedule.

The act of posting manga images before the specified time not only violates copyright, but can also harm manga creators and publishers.

The firm action taken by the Japanese police confirms their seriousness in dealing with copyright violations in the current digital era. This also serves as a warning to others who may intend to carry out similar actions that copyright infringement will not be tolerated and can result in serious legal consequences.

For manga fans, it is very important to support their favorite works in a legitimate way. One way to do this is to buy original manga magazines or subscribe to official services online.

In this way, in addition to supporting creators, fans can also ensure the continuity and progress of the manga industry which continues to provide quality entertainment to those around the world.
