The M5 World Championship is the closing event and World Championship of the 2023 MLBB Competitive Season organized by Moonton. This year, M5 introduced a Wildcard stage and increased prize pools from US$800,000 to US$900,000, and this is the first time the World Championships were held in two different countries.

M5 World Championship Format

Wildcard (November 23-25, 2023):

• Eight teams were randomly drawn into two groups.
• Single Round Robin.
• All Bo3 matches.
• The top 2 teams from each group play in a Crossover Match.
• The bottom 2 teams from each group are eliminated.

Crossover Match (November 26, 2023):

• The first-place team competes in Bo5 against the second-place team from another group.
• The winner of each match advances to the Group Stage.
• The losing team is eliminated.

Group Stage (December 2-7, 2023):

• 16 teams divided into 4 groups.
• Single Round Robin.
• All Bo3 matches.
• The top 2 teams from each group advance to the Knockout Stage.
• The bottom 2 teams from each group are eliminated.

Knockout Stage (December 9-17, 2023):

• Knockout format with double elimination bracket.
• All matches are Bo5 except the Grand Final which is Bo7.

M5 World Championship Prize Pool

The US$900,000 in M5 MLBB prize pool is distributed as follows:

• 1st Place: $300,000
• 2nd Place: $120,000
• 3rd Place: $80,000
• 4th Place: $55,000
• 5th-22th Place: The prize depends on the rank.
• MVP: $5,000

- From NAIA Airport Terminal 3, take the Shuttle Service to Terminal 4.

- Go to Baclaran Station (Exit 3) and take LRT Line 1.

- Get off at Vito Cruz Station, and continue by walking to the venue.

5. With Bus (Playoffs):

- From NAIA Airport Terminal 3, take the Shuttle Service to Terminal 4.

- From the Airport Road bus stop, take a bus bound for Alabang-Plaza Lawton.

- Get off at the P.Ocampo Street bus stop, and continue walking.
